The professional organisation for Educational Kinesiology in this country is the Educational Kinesiology Trust Ltd UK (registered company no. 05128295 ) - a not for profit private company limited by guarantee. We are a small organisation, also comprising the Educational Kinesiology Foundation UK, which is our membership wing and has been in existence since 1984.

The Trust organises and monitors training for all those wishing to use Educational Kinesiology professionally and you have to be registered with it, and qualified by it, in order to use Brain Gym professionally as an Instructor or Consultant and comply with the requirements of the Brain Gym® trademark.

The Trust’s income comes primarily from the annual membership subscriptions paid by our 80 or so Professional Members. Other income arises from the running of courses and Insets. The Directors of the Board are unpaid and the office is staffed by a part-time Administrator and Course Organiser and volunteers. The Trust does not benefit from the sale of Brain Gym books or materials as these are sold by independent businesses. Profits from the organisation are used for administration, to provide services for Members and for development of the programme.

Brain Gym practitioners all work either on a self-employed basis, adding it to existing professional skills, or in other professions into which the Brain Gym tools are integrated.

Today, 27 years on from its first public dissemination, Brain Gym is available in over 80 countries. The parent organisation is the Educational Kinesiology Foundation, a registered not-for-profit corporation based in the United States.
